for HEAVY RAINFALL and DAMAGING WINDS
Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders and parts of Peninsula, North Tropical Coast and Tablelands, Herbert and Lower Burdekin, North West, Central West, Channel Country, Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast Forecast Districts.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Warwick, Longreach, Winton, Georgetown, Hughenden and Richmond.

52mm of rain recorded at Loddon Alert (W of Charleville) in 2 hours to 4.15pm.
70mm of rain recorded at Cliffdale AL in 1 hour to 6.37pm
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded, forget it.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
* For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132 500.
The next warning is due to be issued by 11:20 pm Monday.
Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
