A disturbance will bring increasing precipitation chances to
southwestern and central North Dakota later this evening and into
the overnight hours, continuing through Friday morning,
diminishing Friday afternoon. Precipitation should begin as rain
and freezing rain across the southwest, transitioning to all
freezing rain as it moves into the central, and eventually into a
wintry mix of snow and freezing rain Friday morning through the
afternoon from south of Highway 2 to the South Dakota border. Snow
accumulations will generally be light and less than an inch. Ice
accumulations may range from a light glaze to around a tenth of an
inch. Be sure to check the latest forecast information and road
conditions before heading out.
